Content creator Yangnae Cho, username ShoPhoCho across social media, found the dupe product at Costco.

Cho posted a video comparing Costco’s Kirkland Signature breakfast sandwich to a Starbucks breakfast sandwich.

He claims he had previously compared the Costco breakfast sandwich to the McDonald’s McMuffin.

However, viewers pointed out that the sandwich more closely resembled the one from Starbucks.

The video showed that both sandwiches next to each other were nearly indistinguishable.

“Here they are side by side and I gotta say, they look very similar,” Cho said in the video.

Both products contained bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiched between two halves of a spiral croissant.

According to Cho, the Costco sandwich cost only $2.06, compared to $5.95 for the Starbucks version.

When weighed out on a scale, the Starbucks sandwich came in at 154 grams.

Meanwhile, the Costco sandwich came out to 131 grams.

Despite being slightly more substantial, the Starbucks sandwich cost 3.86 cents per gram, while the Costco sandwich cost 1.57 cents per gram.

Cho taste tested the two sandwiches to see if the Starbucks sandwich was worth its price point at nearly double the cost of the one from Costco.

“Doing the math, we see that Starbucks is a little more than double the price,” Cho said.

“Does it taste two times better? Let’s find out.”

Cho said that taste-wise, the winner between the two was too close to call.

He wondered if both sandwiches were made by the same company.

In conclusion, Cho said that since the two sandwiches tasted the same, the Costco sandwich was a better value at less than half the price.
