Big Ears Festival takes place from March 21-24. Performers at the festival include Adrianne Lenker, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Yasmin Williams, Sam Amidon, Colin Stetson, Joanna Sternberg, Rhiannon Giddens, Thurston Moore, and Digable Planets. In addition, Steve Keeneâknown for his work with Pavement, Silver Jews, and moreâwill give daily painting performances.
André 3000 surprised fans with New Blue Sunâhis first-ever solo albumâlast fall. The flute-heavy, ambient jazz record includes contributions from Mia Doi Todd, Matthewdavid, V.C.R, Diego Gaeta, and more.
