Farm Aid 2025 Set for Minneapolis with Neil Young. Willie Nelson


Willie NelsonNeil Young, and John Mellencamp have announced the details for Farm Aid 2025, which is moving to Minneapolis for its 40th anniversary edition. The charity concert is set for Saturday, September 20th at Huntington Bank Stadium.

In addition to its founders, the festival will feature sets from board member Dave Matthews (performing with Tim Reynolds), Waxahatchee, Margo Price, Billy Strings, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles, Eric Burton (of Black Pumas), Jesse Welles, and Madeline Edwards, with more artists to be announced.

A limited pre-sale (sign up here) for Farm Aid 2025 will begin on Wednesday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 16th via Ticketmaster, also at 10:00 a.m. local time.

“For 40 years, Farm Aid and our partners have stood with farmers, supporting them to stay on their land even when corporate power, bad policies, and broken promises make it harder to keep going,” Nelson said in a statement. “This year, we’re proud to bring Farm Aid to Minnesota to celebrate the farmers who sustain us and to fight for a food system that works for all of us. Family farmers aren’t backing down, and neither are we.”

Meanwhile, Young and his band, the chrome hearts, recently announced their debut album, Talkin to the Trees. They are currently touring Europe ahead of a North American run kicking off in August (get tickets here).
