FAMILY Feud host Steve Harvey has some inspiring words for his followers.
The TV personality recently opened up about his health journey on social media.
On Tuesday, Steve, 67, shared a video on his X, formerly Twitter, account getting real about eating healthy and working out.
While sitting outside with a cool drink, Steve said, “I quit using negative things to describe what I do.
“I don’t call it dieting, I decide ‘Okay, I’m [going to] eat clean for 14 days.’
“Eating clean is okay, man. If you’re eating good vegetables that’s seasoned right, if you’re eating fish that’s seasoned right, you know, that’s eating clean.”

The Family Feud host discussed how he doesn’t call it “working out” but instead refers to it as “getting right.”
In the clips, Steve was doing different exercises while wearing his headphones with a white sweatshirt, black activewear pants, and sneakers.
“I put a positive spin on everything I do,” the Hollywood star continued.
“You say work out, you know, it’s hard.
“But if you say, man, I’m in here getting it right [it] kind of has a positive connotation to it.
“Just walk, man. It’s easy. You can do that. If God has enabled you to be able to walk, why aren’t you thinking about doing it?”
‘I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS’
To caption his post, he said, “The Power of Positive Wording can help shape your health journey!”
Steve then asked his followers what positive words they have been saying to themselves recently, with several sharing their thoughts.
“To be positive and nice to others,” one wrote.
Another said, “I needed to hear this.”
More about Steve Harvey
Steve Harvey was born on January 17, 1957, in Welch, West Virginia. He is the host of Family Feud, The Steve Harvey Morning Show, and comedy court series Judge Steve Harvey.
HIS JOURNEY
Back in 2007, Steve decided it was time for a change.
The comedian revealed the two factors that motivated him to go on a health journey: his son calling him an “old man” and his hectic work schedule.
He told Men’s Fitness Magazine, “My arms were just sitting there–just a piece of meat hanging there, with no curves in them, no definition. And I just got tired of looking at myself that way.”
Alongside former Mr. Olympia, Lee Haney, the TV personality was able to drop 30 pounds and completely transform his attitude towards healthy living.
At the time, Steve and Lee created the 50 and Fly campaign that encouraged older men to get active and be the best they could be.
“The middle-aged guy that’s been sitting around, getting a little fat, getting lazy, not keeping toned, not stretching, stopping at the fast-food joints, making mashed potatoes and lacing everything in butter? I was that guy,” he told the magazine.
During his journey, the star tried many different kinds of diets.
In 2010, Steve even took the Martha’s Vineyard detox and tried to lose 21 pounds in 21 days.
This detox is a liquid-only diet where people only consume juices and vegetable broths.
Steve shared his experiences on X.
On day seven of the diet, he said that he “felt great” and he was losing weight.
Now, Steve has his own dietary supplement brand called L’Evate You.
