Canadian artist and producer Fairlane has shared his new EP, ‘Genesis’.
The five-track project was previously heralded by tracks ‘Not My Night’ and ‘Take It Back’, featuring Point North and Silverstein respectively.
And now the full offering is available, with other features including Wind Walkers, RILEY and SpaceMan Zack in a neat package that fuses electronic and rock.
Sharing his thoughts on the full EP, Fairlane has shared:
“The ‘Genesis’ EP, as the name indicates, really represents the beginning of a new chapter for the Fairlane project.
“Up until now, I always felt that there was a sort of ambiguity to what my sound really was; all 5 tracks on this EP do a perfect job of representing where I want the future of my brand to go, both sonically and visually.
“Genesis aligns with rebirth, as I dive into my new identity. It is also symbolic for the idea that we can start fresh in life once we have come to terms with things that may have limited us in our past.”
The new project is said to mark a new chapter for the multi-talented artist and producer, who’s previously released official remixes for the likes of Rihanna and Ava Max.
He adds of the new project and its collaborators:
“Each song exists in its own unique world, while still feeling cohesive with the rest of the tracklist. I was particularly careful about selecting my collaborators as well.
Each and every artist who worked on this EP with me excels in their own lane; a key reason I was able to bring out such incredible performances from every artist.”
