Later on March 18th, Twitter user @DieChanc3 posted screenshots of posts by @rambites’ and three other users, expressing confusion over everyone claiming the cat for themselves. The post gained over 12,300 retweets and 154,000 likes on Twitter in three days (shown below).
The viral spread of the post prompted more users on Twitter to claim the cat for themselves.
Later on March 18th, 2022, @rambites shared a video of Bob to prove that the cat was indeed his. The post gained over 106,000 viewsa, 280 retweets and 2,900 likes in three days
