Eva Mendes shared a glimpse into her personal life with a post about depression.
The actress, 50, shared a cryptic video on her Instagram Story on Thursday.

On Thursday, Eva, 50, posted a video by Instagram user Sitora Rozikova, @seetorra, that read, “When depression hits, but Latino music hits harder.”
In the caption, the Cuban American actress wrote, “Same @seetorra Same !! Asi se hace !”
“Asi se hace” translates to “That’s how it’s done” in Spanish.
Her Instagram Story comes after Eva opened up about her feelings in a personal post on Wednesday.
The Girl in Progress star shared a series of photos of herself paired with text posts about “emotions.”
The first text post read, “Let’s be a generation of parents who validate their children’s sadness as much as we do their happiness.”
While the second stated, “One of the greatest gifts you can give your child is complete permission to feel their emotions.
“Their anger, their grief, their sadness, their joy. In other words, the safety to be vulnerable with you.”
The carousel of photos was coupled with a lengthy caption. “Let me cry,” the post began.
“When I cry, I don’t really like when people tell me not to cry.”
She went on to say she prefers if her loved ones allow her to “let it all out” as she does with her own kids.
“I advise them to keep crying as long as they need to. So I really appreciate these posts from raising_yourself,” she continued.
She concluded the post by asking her followers for “Thoughts?”
“SUPER ANXIOUS” EVA
This is the third time in a week that Eva has been open about her feelings.
On June 11, Eva posted a behind-the-scenes video where she revealed she gets “super anxious” when expressing herself.

While glamming up before the camera, Eva revealed she gets nervous in conversation as she grew up in a bilingual household.
“Growing up bilingual was great but I feel like I never mastered either language,” she expressed.
“So when it comes to expressing myself – I can get super ‘ansiosa’ at times.”
She revealed that fashion makes her feel “more confident” while paying tribute to her stylist for helping boost her confidence.
“Sometimes, only sometimes, confidence can start from the outside in,” she concluded her post.
