Envy of None, the band featuring legendary RUSH guitarist Alex Lifeson, have announced a new album titled Stygian Wavz. Ahead of the LP’s March 14th release, the band has unveiled the title track and its accompanying music video.
In addition to Lifeson, Envy of None features Maiah Wynne (vocals, keyboards), Andy Curran (bass, programming, stylophone), and Alf Annibalini (guitar, keyboards, programming).
Stygian Wavz is comprised of 11 tracks, including the previously released singles “Not Dead Yet” and “Under the Stars.” The album is the follow-up to Envy of None’s self-titled debut, which was released in 2022.
Regarding the newly released title track, bassist Curran stated, “This track is a favorite of all 4 EONs [Envy of None members]. Despite the fact of the spartan lyrical content, this song features our sweet Maiah on lead vocals. Her harmonies and layers of vocals are literally symphonic! It’s hard to put a finger on what style or genre this one is…and we’re proud of that!”
Stygian Wavz is available for pre-order in a variety of formats, including colored vinyl, standard black vinyl, CD, Blu-ray, and as a deluxe box set.
