RAPPER Enchanting has died at the age of 26.
Enchanting was signed to Gucci Mane’s label, 1017 Records, until 2022.
He posted a photo of Enchanting on his Instagram account and wrote, “So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant.”
Enchanting, born Channing Nicole Larry, was known in the Texas rap scene.
She collaborated with other artists on the label including Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, and the late Big Scarr.
Tributes have already begun to pour in for the young rapper, with one fan writing on X, formerly Twitter, “Enchanting was so talented and gifted. I pray you’re at peace, and your music will live on. Rest in paradise, beautiful.”
“Rest in Peace to the Beautiful & Talented Enchanting Fort Worth Texas,” another tweeted alongside a clip of her rapping.

Enchanting described her sound as “Trap-n-Blues,” according to her website.
She embraced neo-Soul, old-school R&B, and modern trap to create her voice.
“Other people can relate to the things I say. I might help somebody through any situation, they can listen to me and find peace,” she said of her lyrics.

Channing decided to go by Enchanting due to her whispery voice and ethereal vocals.

Enchanting’s rise to fame
Enchanting signed to Gucci Mane’s record label, 1017 Records in 2020 following the success of her debut mixtape, Love & Drugs, which was released in 2016.
She was with the label until 2022.
Enchanting had collaborated with Gucci Mane and Coi Leray on her album No Luv.

It is unclear at this time what Enchanting’s cause of death was.
It had been reported on Monday that she was taken to the hospital and was admitted to the intensive care unit.
