EDDIE HALL is set for an MMA fight of super-heavyweight proportion against former world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Hall is focussing on a career in the cage, winning a farcical two-on-one debut bout against brothers Jamil and Jamel Neffati last June.

But he has now announced that his long-anticipated fight against Pudzianowski is set for April 26 at the 30,000-seat PreZero Arena in Poland.
Hall said on his YouTube channel: “The fight is on. I have been talking about fighting Maruisz Pudzianowski.
“He is five-times World’s Strongest Man and he retired back in 2009 to become a professional MMA fighter.
“He’s had a 16-year career fighting in MMA, I think he’s had something like 27 fights I did know this the other day.
“Quite a decent winning/lose ratio. So he’s won more than he’s lost which is obviously a bonus for him.
“I’ve been trying to get into MMA for quite a long time now and obviously the time has come.
“The deal landed on my lap to fight Maruisz Pudzianowski. It’s not like I’m jumping in the deep end or anything!
“I’m not having a few amateur fights, have a few pro and then fight one of the best in the world.”

Pudzianowski, 48, started strongman competition in 1999 and became world champion in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2008.
But he turned pro in MMA in 2009 and has had 27 bouts, winning 17, losing nine and having one no-contest.
His most recent bout was a June 2023 defeat to former pro boxer Artur Szpilka, 35.
Hall, 37, meanwhile had a similar strongman boxing fight against Hafthor Bjornsson, 36, losing over six exhibition rounds.
But he moved into MMA afterwards, even sparring UFC star Tom Aspinall, 31, before his bizarre handicap bout against the TikTok star Neffati brothers.
Hall weighed 26 STONE for that bout while Pudzianowski is 18st – meaning they weigh a combined 44st.
