Ed Sheeran was in talks to write the theme song for the 2021 James Bond movie No Time to Die.
However, the 31-year-old “Shape of You” star ultimately lost out on the opportunity, which went to Billie Eilish and her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas. The duo contributed the titular track to the blockbuster, which went on to peak inside the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won Billie her first Oscar.
Ed revealed how he lost out on the opportunity during a recent interview.
