EAST London locals were left shocked after huge US rapper Saweetie took over a street to film one of her music videos.
One TikTok user spotted the 31-year-old, real name Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, in Islington – but wanted confirmation on who it was.

In the video the rapper looked incredible in a small bandeau top, tiny shorts and knee high boots.
She stood in front of a white car and was surrounded by film crew near Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell.
The social media user asked: “TikTok do your magic. Who is this?”
Many rushed to the comments section to share who it is.
One wrote: “That’s Saweetie!”
Another chimed in: “What is Saweetie doing in Farringdon?”
“WTH!!! If I’d gone coop today, I’d have seen SAWEETIE!!!, a third said.

Saweetie has become a huge name over the past few years.
She started off by posting rap videos on her Instagram – and her rap over Khia’s tune My Neck, My Back – made it big time.
The star boasts an incredible 12.6m followers on Instagram.
Her debut album Pretty B*tch Music is due to be released soon, after it was supposed to be released in 2021.
