Minecraft YouTuber Dream says he’s set to rebrand his image to start a “new chapter” in his career, almost three years after he initially revealed his face.
Dream has skyrocketed in popularity over the years, becoming the biggest Minecraft YouTuber on the internet, and has gotten to that level without ever showing his face.
That is, until October 2022, when he decided to upload a video revealing his true looks. The reveal didn’t go quite as planned, however, and Dream eventually reverted back to using his iconic mask due to harassment from users online.
On Thursday, April 17, Dream revealed that he’s set to do another rebranding at the end of April to “start a new chapter,” and fans are eagerly waiting for the change.
Dream reveals plans to rebrand
“I will be doing a rebranding around the end of the month to start a new chapter,” he said in a post on X.
It’s unknown what the Minecrafter plans on doing with his rebrand, or why he has suddenly decided to do such a thing, but fans have taken to the replies of the post to share their thoughts about it.
Some users began to speculate that he might try showing his face again, while others considered whether he might focus on a different type of content entirely.
“Face reveal part 2?” one fan asked in the replies.
Another asked: “How big of a change are we talkin’ here?”
“A music chapter?” replied a third.
In a cryptic post on April 18, Dream posted a picture of a computer screen with two icons labeled blob.txt and Trash Bin, leaving some wondering whether or not he’s going to try going without his iconic mask yet again.
Fans also noticed that the date on the screen says April 26, 2025, and the time is 16:58, meaning the rebrand may happen at 4:58 pm on that Saturday.
This comes just weeks after Tommyinnit and Dream sparked beef again over a joke about DreamSMP’s reunion led to Tommy comparing it to his grandfather’s death.
