Cause Of Death – Subdural Hematoma
According to the Medical Encyclopedia, “Subdural hematoma is most often the result of a severe head injury. This type of subdural hematoma is among the deadliest of all head injuries. The bleeding fills the brain area very rapidly, compressing brain tissue. This often results in brain injury and may lead to death.”
Fans have been mourning Akira Toriyama’s death. A user commented, “This hit me harder than I would have expected; I’m not even a big Dragon Ball fan. The man was just massively influential. What a loss.” A concerned fan wrote, “So, he hit his head on something, or something hit his head? Isn’t Subdural Hematoma usually caused by blunt force trauma? Does anyone know exactly what happened?” To this, another fan calmed him down, “Epidural hematomas are usually caused by trauma, subdurals not necessarily.”
One more fan expressed his disbelief and wrote, “Toriyama changed my life. I learned about Dragon Ball 6, and ever since, my life has revolved around Japan and Japanese, and now I live and work here. I have always dreamed of meeting him one day, but now I never will. This is the first celebrity death that has ever really affected me, if I’m being honest, and I’m more upset than I could have expected. His work in gaming is enormous, and he is the artist for one of the greatest RPGs ever made.”
May his soul rest in peace.
