Does The Bold and the Beautiful’s Luna Have an Identical Twin – New ‘Ronna’ Character’s Big Reveal?

Does The Bold and the Beautiful's Luna Have an Identical Twin, New ‘Ronna’ Character's Big Reveal?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers indicate that we have to ask: Does Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) have an identical twin? A new character named “Ronna” could be part of a big reveal, so let’s consider an intriguing storyline option.

B&B’s offering some conflicting info at this point since what’s happening on-screen doesn’t line up with what’s ahead.

Luna just flatlined and is confirmed to be the patient who doesn’t make it through surgery alive.

However, Lisa Yamada was at the studio filming as recently as June 30.

Thanks to a script that Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) posted in an Instagram story, we know Luna is featured in the cast list for an episode that’ll air September 8.

With that in mind, we should mull over the possibilities here.

One is that Luna will pop up in ghostly form, but it’s perhaps more likely that a huge twist is in store.

Luna’s demise could be a fake-out – just like John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death was after he got shot in the alley.

Finn seemed like he was dead and gone, but it was later revealed that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) secretly saved him.

There are all sorts of soapy ways to work around a fatal exit, so we’re not too worried about the details.

It’s bound to be farfetched anyway, so Luna’s survival story may just be something that fans have to roll with.

That said, there’s one more option that could redeem Luna and give her a chance to bond with Finn in the end.

What if the Luna that just went on this wild rampage isn’t the real Luna at all?

When Luna first arrived in Los Angeles, she seemed like a sweet little angel.

Luna had a boring romance with RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and behaved like a totally different person.

Let’s consider for a moment that Luna WAS a totally different person at the time!

What if Luna has an evil twin who took over her life somewhere along the way?

That would explain why Luna went off the rails and became someone capable of kidnapping, murder and more.

This could turn into a storyline that’s similar to when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) assumed lookalike “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown) was Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown).

Everyone believes this troubled young woman is Luna, but what if she’s someone else entirely?

That brings us to another hint on the leaked script we mentioned.

A character named “Ronna” will also be featured in this episode with Luna. Ronna and Luna sound like they could easily be names for twins!

Maybe it’ll ultimately be revealed that Poppy gave birth to two babies instead of one.

The twins might’ve gotten separated somehow – leading Ronna to eventually take Luna’s place as an adult.

In other words, Ronna could be the one who spiraled out of control while posing as Luna.

The real Luna might still be out there in captivity somewhere – just like Sheila was after “Sugar” died.

Ronna might be featured in some flashback scenes to explain the twin swap if one indeed went down.

This whole twin scenario would obviously be a massive rewrite, but it’d be an interesting direction to take the story in.

There’s been a lot of talk from characters about not even recognizing Luna anymore.

No one can understand how Luna went from someone who seemed so normal and kind to someone capable of such horrible crimes.

Will a Ronna twin switch explain that?

Could Ronna be the one killed off while Luna gets a fresh start when she comes out of captivity?

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some startling Luna news is ahead one way or another, so stay tuned for updates on all the curveballs.
