Doechii didn’t waste any time after winning Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammys, dropping a brash new song titled “Nosebleeds” shortly after the ceremony ended on Sunday night. Stream the track below.
On the Jonas Jeberg-produced track, Doechii shouts out her native Tampa and references Kanye West’s 2005 Grammy acceptance speech by rapping, “Everyone wanted to know what Doechii would do if she didn’t win/ I guess we’ll never…”
After boasting haters will “never see the day that Doechii crown falls,” the rapper thanks Top Dawg Entertainment, labelmates SZA and Isaiah Rashad, and president Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith Jr.
As Doechii pointed out during her acceptance speech, she is now the third woman to receive the award for Best Rap Album after winning for Alligator Bites Never Heal (one of the 50 best albums of 2024).
She also shared encouragement for aspiring artists: “Anything is possible. Don’t allow anybody to project any stereotypes on you that tell you that you can’t be here, that you’re too dark or that you’re not smart enough, or that you’re too dramatic or you’re too loud. You are exactly who you need to be, to be right where you are and I’m a testimony.”
