SEAN “Diddy” Combs’ ex-girlfriend has condemned the rap mogul’s actions, saying the violent assault video triggered her own trauma.
Misa Hylton, the mother of one of the Bad Boy CEO’s sons, Justin Combs, expressed her support for Casandra “Cassie” Ventura after surveillance footage showed Diddy attacking the R&B singer in 2016.
“I am heartbroken that Cassie must relieve the horror of her abuse, and my heart goes out to her,” Hylton wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.
“I know exactly how she feels, and through my empathy, it has triggered my own trauma.
“These young people were raised by women that want the best for them – we put God and education first and have always been united in our mutual effort to support their dreams.”
Hylton, who dated Diddy in the early 1990s, concluded by saying the underfire rapper needs help.

“Two of the youngest do not have their mother here, and it has been our duty to support them,” the stylist, 51, added.
“Their father needs help and I am praying that he truly does the personal work and receives it.”
HORRIFIC VIDEO
Hylton’s statement comes days after CNN released a surveillance video from 2016 showing Diddy physically assaulting his then-ex-girlfriend Cassie.
The video showed Diddy, holding a towel around his waist, chasing after Casie as she waited for an elevator at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
As Diddy approaches Cassie, he is seen forcefully striking her to the ground, as he proceeds to kick her as she lies motionless on the lobby floor.
The Bad Boy 4 Life rapper then grabs Cassie’s bag and purse as he continues his assault, dragging her across the elevator bank into the hallway.
A second camera angle obtained by the news outlet showed the moments after the assault when Cassie slowly stood up and retrieved her belongings.
Cassie is then seen picking up a phone in the hallway as Diddy returns and sits on a chair directly in front of her.
He grabs what appears to be a vase from a table and throws it at Cassie, the video showed.
The disturbing assault matched the allegations Cassie made in a lawsuit filed in November 2023 against her ex-boyfriend.
“Ms. Ventura tried to leave the hotel room, but as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura,” the suit reads.
“He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her.
“He grabbed at her and then took glass vases in the hallways and threw them at her, causing glass to crash around them as she ran to the elevator to escape.”
In the filing, Cassie claimed that Combs paid the same hotel $50,000 for the footage of the attack.
The lawsuit was settled a day after the documents were filed in federal court.
SORRY MESS
Diddy broke his silence and apologized days after the video was released.
He reflected on the moment as one of the “darkest times” of his life.
“I was f**ked up,” Combs said in the video.
“I mean, I hit rock bottom but I make no excuses. My behavior on that video is inexcusable.
“I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.
“I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it and I’m disgusted now.
“I went and I sought out professional help and had to go to therapy, had to go to rehab.
“Had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry.”
