Delta Airlines is now serving Shake Shack to passengers flying first class as part of an ‘elevated’ dining experience. Here’s how you can get a burger with your flight.
In December 2024, Delta Airlines passengers started getting treated to Shake Shack, but only if they took off from the Boston Logan International Airport.
Those who traveled first-class during a trip of 900 or more miles had the chance to pick the new menu item for their in-flight meal.
The addition of burgers onboard was a smash hit with flyers, and a few months later, Delta announced that even more routes have been added.
Delta expands Shake Shack to multiple routes
On June 3, Delta revealed that 7 routes have added Shake Shack to select flights.
Now, Delta passengers flying out of JFK in New York, LAS in Vegas, Miami International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and Salt Lake City International Airport will have the option.
Those cities now join Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles, New York-LaGuardia and Seattle as locations offering mouthwatering burgers.
“Customers are raving about the Shake Shack experience onboard our flights after serving more than 10,000 burgers out of Boston since launching in December,” Stephanie Laster, Managing Director of Onboard Service said back in March.
“This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience – whether that’s making your favorite cheeseburger available at 35,000 feet, or ensuring you have a variety of fresh meals to choose from that fuel you on your adventure.”
In addition to a Shake Shack cheeseburger served with the company’s famous ShackSauce, the meal also features chips, a Caesar salad and a dark chocolate brownie.
Next time you’re planning to travel 900 or more miles and do so in first class, remember this offer if you’re looking for a tastier experience in the air.
