Deion Sanders did not have any desire to interact with his ex-wife, Pilar, while she was in Boulder over the weekend. His sons tried to trick him into a reunion on Senior Day at Colorado but the patriarch managed to avoid their trap.
He completely swerved the mother of his three youngest children after catching on to what Shilo and Shedeur had secretly planned behind his back.
Deion Sr. got married to Carolyn Chambers in 1989. They gave birth two Deiondra and Deion Jr. prior to their split in 1998. The Pro Football Hall of Famer got remarried one year later to Pilar. They had Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi together prior to their split in 2012.
Shilo and Shedeur played the final regular season game of their college football careers on Friday. As is standard, the Buffaloes honored their senior class on the field prior to kickoff. Every player was offered the chance to receive individual recognition during a ceremony to which their families were invited. Those who chose/were able to do so walked alongside their parents/guardians.
Although Shilo and Shedeur were not the exception, their circumstances were a little bit different.
For one, their dad is also the head coach. In addition, their dad and their mom are not on good terms after a messy divorce and custody battle. Pilar at one point accused Deion of physical abuse toward her and their children, which led to a $2.2 million defamation lawsuit. Deion won.

Pilar was actually sentenced to seven days in jail on a contempt-of-court charge and lost all visitation rights to her three children amid all of the legal proceedings!
Needless to say, their relationship has soured to the fullest extend over the last 12 years.
Deion Sanders won’t interact with Pilar.
Pilar was in attendance for Senior Day in Boulder. Deion too, obviously.
Prior to the ceremony, Shilo announced his and his brother’s plan to “do the impossible.”

Shilo and Shedeur were the last two seniors to have their names called. They walked from the end zone to midfield alongside their father. Upon arrival to the 50-yard-line, their mom emerged from the crowd.
As soon as Deion noticed Pilar, he tapped his sons on the back, turned right around, and walked the other way. He completely swerved his ex-wife. He was out of there in a hurry!
Shilo and Shedeur’s attempt to do the impossible was indeed a failure as they expected. Deion Sanders wanted nothing to do with Pilar.
