Joe Manganiello hosted the new series in which contestants vied to get their hands on valuable briefcases hidden on the elusive Banker’s private island. In each episode, players competed in daring challenges to secure the briefcases that were used in that night’s game of “Deal or No Deal.” The winnings from each game were added to a group pot that grew to an exponential value throughout the season. The last player standing faced the Banker to potentially win the biggest prize in “Deal or No Deal” history.

29-year-old Jordan Fowler from Nashville, Tennessee was the winner in the end and the final case was worth $13,857,000.

During the final game of Deal or No Deal, Jordan turned down offers for $203,000, $607,000, and $1,197,000.

She eventually accepted an offer of $1,230,000.

So, what was the twist?

Howie Mandel, the original host of Deal or No Deal, was the Banker all along and he appeared at the final game to present all of the offers in person.

NBC has already announced that Deal or No Deal Island will return for another season along with several other shows.
