dbrand has revealed its new “touch grass” lineup of device skins for April Fools’ Day, and you can actually buy them.
April Fools’ Day has existed for decades, and it hasn’t been uncommon for companies to reveal mockup items for a prank that aren’t actually available for purchase.
However, that has slowly changed over the last few years, with one example being Razer’s Skibidi brainrot translator for its 2025 prank.
dbrand’s latest April Fools’ Day prank forces tech-lovers to touch grass all the time as they’ve released a new line of skins that you can actually purchase.

“You can finally touch grass,” they said in the reveal tweet alongside a link to the product page. In the picture, you can see a Macbook Pro with the company’s new grass skin on the back.
You’ll find more information about the release after heading to the skin’s landing page, and at the bottom of the page, you’ll find the link to buy one for yourself. You can buy just the skin or pair it with dbrand’s grip case for ultimate protection of your phone.
“This is not a joke,” it reads. The skin is available for just about every device you can imagine, including the iPhone’s clear back to the 12 Pro, Macbooks, the Nintendo Switch, consoles, and even Valve’s Steam Deck handheld.
After the announcement on X, users flocked to the comments to share their thoughts about the release.
“This is such an excellent landing page. Great work, very cool,” one user commented.
Another commented: “I would unironically buy it for the texture alone, it seems so fun to touch and just move my hand across while thinking at work.”
“That page design is so good, I’m gonna buy it for a device I don’t even have,” a third user replied.
This isn’t the first time a tech company has launched a product that makes tech-lovers touch grass while using their favorite device. Back in 2023, HyperX revealed grass keycaps to make keyboard lovers touch grass while playing their favorite games.
