Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Sal Stowers is making a surprise return, so she’ll be reprising the role of Lani Price-Grant for some new scenes. You can catch Lani during the week of July 3-7, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) recently opened up to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) about Lani’s time in prison and all the amazing work she’d been doing behind bars.
Lani is really making the best of a bad situation by mentoring fellow inmates and helping other women find a positive path forward.
Of course, Eli and the twins miss Lani terribly, but Days offered some hope for her release by Christmas.
Eli said that Lani would be eligible for parole in six months, so speculation began about Sal Stowers making a return appearance for the holidays.
It turns out Lani will be popping back up sooner than anticipated since she’ll indeed appear during the week of July 3-7.
Other Days characters have been given surprise pardons before, so maybe Lani will get one this time around.
It’d be a great way for DOOL to wrap up the latest Abe Carver (James Reynolds) saga, which is about to go from bad to worse.
Days spoilers say Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles) will make the clues point to Abe’s presumed demise, so Eli and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will have to take some grim evidence to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
Since it looks like Lani will come back to Salem instead of being seen on a prison set, perhaps she’ll indeed be pardoned and show up when Paulina needs her most.
Abe is the mayor, so he’s surely got some friends in high places.
That could lead to the right people taking pity on Lani and pardoning her so she can be with her family during this tragic time.
Fortunately, sadness will turn to joy once Abe is eventually found alive.
Lani, Paulina and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) will get some incredible news sooner or later, so they’ll be able to celebrate Abe’s homecoming along with Lani’s.
