Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will soon have a showdown with a very familiar face! That’s because Rafe’s evil twin is about to make a shocking return, so Galen Gering will be pulling double duty once his doppelganger’s back on-screen.
If you were watching Days in 2011, you might remember that Rafe had a lookalike named Arnold Feniger.
Arnold wasn’t born Rafe’s twin, but he did have plastic surgery to become one for a twisted DiMera plot.
This criminal worked for Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) since they wanted revenge on Rafe and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney).
Following Arnold’s plastic surgery, he was ultimately swapped in for Rafe as the devious plan moved forward.
Arnold posed as Rafe and dismantled his relationship with Sami, who assumed Rafe’s behavior change was due to an accident that he’d been in.
Although Arnold ultimately got busted and wound up deceased in a prison attack, we all know grisly outcomes rarely stick in Salem.
That’s especially true when someone is connected to the DiMera clan since Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) has plenty of life-saving serums he can inject.
No matter how they explain it, Arnold Feniger is indeed set to make a Days comeback.
You can bet Arnold is going to shake things up and cause a whole lot of problems!
Arnold Feniger is confirmed to appear in the December 31 episode, but it looks like he might actually show up a bit sooner than that.
During the week of December 23-27, EJ will deal with an old acquaintance who walks back into his life.
This acquaintance will become an unwelcome houseguest that EJ struggles to get rid of, so Arnold could be the one who shows up and refuses to leave.
The week of December 30-January 3 will definitely bring some Arnold drama since that’s when Rafe will face off with this familiar foe.
Days spoilers say Rafe and Arnold have a confrontation coming up – one that’ll presumably result in another switch happening.
It sounds like poor Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) won’t realize Arnold has swapped in for Rafe, so their romance will inevitably take some wrong turns!
Our DOOL predictions point to Arnold making a real mess of Rafe and Jada’s engagement.
