Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Patrika Darbo (Nancy Miller) recently shared some big news on her Instagram account. Darbo posted a short video with a Fourth of July message and updates on the upcoming events she’d be part of, but it was her announcement that the end that really left fans intrigued.
In that video, Patrika Darbo hinted about her return to Days – though she couldn’t divulge much other than what month she’d be back on-screen.
Darbo will presumably be reprising her role as Nancy Miller when she pops up again this fall.
“Let’s see…I think you’re going to be surprised to see me airing in October and you won’t know what it is all about, but it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Darbo said.
October is only a few months away, so it won’t be that long until Nancy returns for this mysterious storyline that Darbo alluded to.
Days obviously wants to keep the details under wraps, but it’ll certainly be nice to see Nancy back!
There’s no word yet on the length of Darbo’s comeback stint, but DOOL writers will hopefully make the most of Nancy while she’s around.
Of course, this opens the door to some speculation about why Nancy might make a return trip to Salem.
Does this mean Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) might pop up again too or could Nancy be used in her daughter’s place?
There have been some rumblings about a Parker Jonas recast showing up, so maybe Grandma Nancy could be part of his Days debut.
Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) could use more family in town, especially since Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) is exiting the canvas at the end of July.
If Holly’s brother comes home to Salem, that could give her a chance to reconnect with Parker or fight with him depending on how things play out for these siblings.
On the other hand, there might be some other story-related reason for Nancy Miller to make some return appearances.
It’s too early to say for sure, but stick with us for more predictions on what’s ahead for Nancy and those closest to her.
