Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jennifer Aniston is reportedly not a fan of the exit story that the show’s chosen for Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). Since John Aniston passed away back in November 2022, Days ultimately had to come up with a departure strategy to explain Victor’s permanent absence.
On August 16, some horrible news will spread about Victor’s grim fate. Days insiders insist a plane clash will claim the life of Victor, but sources at DailyMail.com point to Jennifer Aniston’s disapproval.
Jennifer apparently hates to fly and has some personal fears about it, so it’s easy to see why this would rub her the wrong way as sources claim.
On social media, some viewers are also expressing disappointment over the plane crash exit, so there are certainly plenty of fans who wish Days had handled this differently.
However, Victor obviously had to be written out one way or another.
The show could’ve taken another route by having Victor succumb to illness, but the plane crash route is arguably a less tragic way for Victor to go.
At least with a sudden accident like this, we’re meant to believe Victor is still strong and out there living his life until the very last moment.
Victor was always a force to be reckoned with, so it’s perhaps fitting that he’ll go out in such dramatic fashion.
In some ways, a plane crash seems like a simple, logical choice here.
Of course, this will still be terribly sad news for all Victor’s loved ones.
