Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Casey Moss will return as JJ Deveraux, so Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) brother will be back for her funeral. DOOL fans have been hoping JJ would be able to come home to his family during this difficult time. It just wouldn’t be the same without JJ around.
Thankfully, the latest Days spoilers have JJ returning during the week of June 20-24.
JJ will pay Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) a visit so they can reflect on some memories of Abigail and mourn the loss together.
Chad knows Abigail and JJ had a strong sibling bond, so it should be good for him to be around someone who understands what a tough loss this is.
It’s one thing to hear someone offer condolences, but JJ will be down in the pit of despair as well.
Chad will obviously be further down in that pit since he’s Abigail’s husband, but it’ll still be nice for him to talk to someone who really gets it.
Of course, JJ will also be there for his grieving parents during this tragedy.
Abigail’s funeral and burial are coming up, so JJ should be present for those – whether they’re onscreen or off.
Either way, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) will struggle with a heartbreaking task.
That could be picking out Abigail’s gravestone or even just the act of making sure their daughter is properly laid to rest.
Whatever the case, it’ll be great to have JJ back in the mix, even if it’s under tragic circumstances.
Days spoilers say JJ will catch up with some loved ones in Salem and have the opportunity to say goodbye to Abigail, so it’ll be an emotional trip home.
Since JJ is definitely listed in spoilers and there’s been no sign of any recast news, all signs point to Casey Moss reprising his role once again.
Moss was featured in a fun video with Mary Beth Evans (Kayla Johnson) on DOOL’s YouTube channel earlier this month, so that left fans hopeful that he’d be back as JJ Deveraux soon.
