Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that more changes could be brewing behind the scenes at the Peacock soap. Now that DOOL Head Writer Ron Carlivati has been replaced by Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford, there’ll inevitably be some writing shifts and new story directions.
Victoria Konefal has already filmed scenes to reprise the role of Ciara Brady Weston for Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) funeral this December, but many fans would like to see Ciara back on a more permanent basis.
Robert Scott Wilson (ex-Ben Weston) is still at Days playing Alex Kiriakis, but it seems like viewers have never quite warmed up to him in that role – at least not like they did when he was one half of the popular Ben and Ciara pairing.
Ciara and Ben went through quite the emotional rollercoaster over the years before riding off into the sunset together.
However, maybe it’s time to think about what Ben and Ciara’s future in Salem could look like.
Ciara presumably gave birth to her second child off-screen, so it’d be nice to see her enter a new family era with Ben, little Bo Brady and his sibling.
There are certainly fresh Days stories that can be told featuring Ben and Ciara, so perhaps Robert Scott Wilson could step back into Ben’s shoes and get paired up with his former leading lady again.
Of course, some “Cin” fans might not want to risk the happiness that Ciara and Ben have found.
As long as Ben and Ciara are off canvas together, their stable marriage is easy to preserve.
It’s when characters end up front and center that the soapy drama inevitably comes roaring back!
Even so, it might be worth putting Ciara and Ben through another round of emotional turmoil if the storylines are good enough.
