Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Crystal Chappell (ex-Carly Manning) and Michael Sabatino (ex-Lawrence Alamain) recently shared a health update with their fans. Let’s discuss how the couple’s handling Sabatino’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, which Chappell first spoke about on social media a few months ago.
In an interview with Swooon, Sabatino and Chappell shared how things are going following that medical news. Thankfully, Sabatino admitted he’s feeling “pretty good” and offered up some praise for his doctor at Stanford Medicine.
In addition to being given meds to keep tremors under control, Sabatino acknowledged that being in good shape is helpful.
“I’m pretty strong. A lot of people are challenged with balance, so I do a lot of balance exercises. Also, I do a lot of yoga with Crystal,” Sabatino said.
Michael Sabatino voiced his appreciation for fellow actor Michael J. Fox, who also has Parkinson’s and has done so much to raise awareness as well as research funds.
Of course, Chappell has been right by Sabatino’s side as he’s tackled the difficulties of his diagnosis and agreed he’s “doing well.”
Sabatino and Chappell have a solid marriage of 28 years – though they’ve actually been together overall for 34.
As for what life is like for the couple now, Crystal Chappell talked about their gorgeous home on the Central Coast, which offers an ocean view.
The vibe is “calm” and “laid back” since that’s what the duo’s looking for these days.
