Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to pass along, so let’s talk about all the big changes that are in the works. For starters, we should address some recasts that’ll be airing soon.
CDL previously speculated that Rachel Boyd would be taking over the part of Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) – and now TV Insider confirms she’s indeed a Sophia recast.
Once Kientz makes her final appearance on January 27, Boyd will step in as Sophia starting February 12.
Sophia will continue to shake up Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) lives, so don’t miss any tricks she might have up her sleeve.
It looks like Sophia’s manipulative side may rear its ugly head in the coming episodes.
In other Days recast news, Alice Halsey will replace Finley Rose Slater as Rachel Black starting April 24, so Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) daughter will have a brand-new look before long.
We should also mention that soap vet Michael Dietz (Alan-Michael Spaulding on Guiding Light, Joe Scanlon on Port Charles) has a mysterious Days story arc coming up.
Dietz will be around for a brief plot that kicks off April 30, so that’s something to look forward to.
As for Kim Coles, she’ll be reprising the role of Nurse Whitley King, but she’ll only appear in one DOOL episode.
Whitley will rejoin the action on February 5, so she’ll inevitably make a splash!
SOD previously reported that Emily O’Brien would return as Theresa Donovan in March, but now they seem to be backtracking on that.
TV Insider insists that O’Brien will reprise the role of Gwen Rizczech starting March 10, so it’ll be interesting to see what Gwen’s up to.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’ll be plenty of other comebacks happening down the line, including Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and a whole lot more!
