When Victoria Beckham heard her husband singing along to Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas is You” she began to inconspicuously film him. Not only was it a hit on social media, but Carey herself approved.

Unknown to the former soccer pro, 47, as he looks at his phone and enjoys his coffee while singing along to Carey’s hit holiday song, his wife is filming his solo concert performance. When he realizes he’s being watched, he flawlessly hits a high note with a smirk, but not before Victoria pointed out, “You were struggling with the high note, weren’t you?” David responded in a sassy playful tone saying, “Like you do?”
Of course, the Internet went wild and Victoria’s Instagram post received more than a million views and tons of comments. The one comment that stuck out the most – Carey’s!
“My new fave rendition 😂 love you guys! ❤️🎄❤️🎄,” Carey wrote. She also took a screenshot of Victoria’s video and added her own festive touch to it before sharing it on her Instagram Story to show her appreciation for David’s rendition of the song.
David also commented on the Instagram video, “🤨 @victoriabeckham 🎅🏼” Journalist and media personality Derek Blasberg took to the comment section to pose the question, “What can’t he do? ❤️” Many other followers also had something to say about David’s singing ability. “The ending was impressive though wow,” one person wrote. Another added, “He could’ve been a Spice Girl! He’s got pipes.”
CBS TV joined the chat to plug an upcoming special, “Sounds like you’d both love our special on December 20th 😉” They are referring to “Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!,” a two-hour concert special filmed at Madison Square Garden that will air on December 20. Carey will be performing holiday hits, including the one David enjoyed singing in his kitchen.

The Spice Girl, 48, also shared the fun on her TikTok page where the video captioned, “David giving us his best @mariahcarey 🎶🎄Who sang it best? 😂 xx VB,” received more than 8 million views and thousands of comments.
Many of her TikTok followers commented about her husband’s singing ability and the joy it has brought to them. “I needed this today. Who knew David Beckham casually scrolling on his phone singing Christmas songs could cause such joy,” one follower wrote in the comments.
Another added, “Then he busts out perfect pitch in the end!!!” One person suggested adding him to the Spice Girls, “The sixth member of Spice Girls 🕺🏻🎤” Another follower added to that suggestion saying, “If you can’t make the next reunion send David 😂”
