Foo Fighters lead singer and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl shocked fans on Tuesday when he revealed on Instagram that he had fathered a child outside his longtime marriage to wife Jordyn Blum.’
Grohl and Blum have been married for 21 years and have three children together, all daughters.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” the Instagram post read.
Grohl is genuinely a fairly low-key guy. So the news came as a shock to many.
“Have never felt deeper parasocial betrayal than Dave Grohl cheating on his wife,” one fan tweeted.
“Dave Grohl cheating on his wife and having a whole a– baby outside of his marriage was not on my f—— 2024 bingo card,” wrote another.
Grohl most recently made headlines when he appeared to take a thinly veiled shot at Taylor Swift.
“I tell you, man,” he started. “You don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So, we like to call our tour, ‘The Errors Tour,’ We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f—ing errors, as well.
“Just a couple… That’s because we actually play live. What?!”
Unsurprisingly, Grohl faced plenty of blowback over the line. And Swift herself even appeared to clap back.
“Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew, my band who’s gonna be playing live for you for 3.5 hours tonight, they deserve this so much,” she said at a concert shortly after. “And so does every one of my fellow performers. And you just gave that to us so generously, we will never forget it.”
So now Grohl has the Swifties and his fans irked at him. But credit to him for stepping up as a father!
