Zoey 101 star Daniella Monet is showing fans what some of her non-yoga workouts look like. Monet, 35, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a gray tank top, doing exercises at an F45 gym. “Things on my camera from this week 🤪 all over the place, and that’s just how I like it 🤷♀️ spillin deets in the comments 🫖,” she captioned the post. Monet is an actress, entrepreneur, and busy mom—here’s how she stays fit and full of energy.
Monet is a long-time vegan, and is passionate about animal welfare and the environment. “I believe a lot of my energy and focus stems from my vegan lifestyle,” she told Haute Living. “I’m hardly ever sick, and I stay relatively fit whilst eating just about whatever I want. Aside from that, I have little to no guilt. I know that the food I put in my body didn’t suffer. That to me, is priceless.”
Monet finds happiness in the small things. “Working out, playing with my dogs, experiencing new things, and spending time with loved ones truly make me my happiest,” she told Haute Living. “I’ve learned that balance is so important, and although having big dreams is important, sometimes stopping to appreciate the little things is what life is all about.”
Monet started her own environmentally-friendly diaper line. “Sprouted was conceived when I realized natural diapers just didn’t meet the quality and transparency standards I was looking for,” she told Choose Veg. “Diapers are so incredibly wasteful, and I am fully aware that not even Sprouted ticks every environmental box I would like it to, but we’re working on changing that.”
Monet makes sure all her beauty products are cruelty-free. “Part ways with the products you have, and give yourself the opportunity to start fresh,” she told Veg News. “Go in with the mindset of simplifying—that’s my approach. I really like going back to the basics and focusing on understanding the ingredients. Once you have a better understanding of what cruelty-free means, why vegan is better, and which ingredients are and are not vegan—all those things help a lot moving forward.”
Monet is thriving in motherhood. “Becoming a mother has proven to me just how strong women are,” she told Choose Veg. “Caring for a child is the most consuming job I’ve ever had, and it has given me an entirely new outlook on my priorities. I absolutely love and value the time I get with Gio, and I know how lucky I am to be his mom. He motivates me to be the best version of myself and work hard to create a comfortable lifestyle full of compassion and kindness. I’ve been able to see life through his eyes, and it’s a beautiful thing.”
