Cyan Kicks are vying to represent Finland at Eurovision 2024 with their explosive rock track, ‘Dancing With Demons’.
The Finnish four-piece are hoping that unleashing their inner demons will see them come out as champions of the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) – the competition to decide who will represent Finland at the premier European singing competition.
Cyan Kicks had previously competed in UMK with their entry ‘Hurricane’ in 2022, placing second in the final.
Last year’s Eurovision public vote winner Käärijä has already given the band his backing for this year.
Their track selection, ‘Dancing With Demons’, was co-written and produced by Dan Lancaster, known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon, Enter Shikari, Blink-182 and more.
The news of the start of their Eurovision journey comes off the back of their debut sold-out UK tour with Smash Into Pieces.

Describing the track, frontwoman Susanna Alexandra has shared:
“Everyone has their own weaknesses and shadows that we are ashamed of and don’t want others to see.
“But what if we were able to turn our inner demons onto our side, what would happen?”
Cyan Kicks will be performing the track in a bid to be selected as the Finnish representatives at Eurovision 2024 during the live UMK final broadcast on February 10 at 9pm at Nokia Arena, Tampere.
When discussing returning to the race for a second time, the band have said:
“We’re no longer afraid and all stage anxiety is gone. Working with this team again feels like seeing family, it’s like coming home.”
