iDubbbz’s Creator Clash 3 is set to take place in June, but one of the event’s top fighters may have just backed out entirely.
On February 4, 2025, after a year of radio silence, iDubbbz posted a video where he admitted some of the mistakes he made with Creator Clash 2.
The event lost $250,000 due to piracy in 2023, and he admitted that he should have promoted it way more than he did at the time. The YouTuber also said that he couldn’t run the event properly while training for his own match, so he backed down for CC3.
Creator Clash 3’s biggest match features food-focused YouTubers LA Beast and Harley Morenstein from Epic Meal Time. However, a cryptic post from Harley has fans believing that he backed out of the event.
Fans shocked after Harley’s cryptic tweet
On Monday, April 28, Harley shared a picture on Twitter/X revealing the camper he has been living in while he gets ready for his boxing match.
“This is where I’ve been living for the last few months, getting ready for my boxing match. ‘It’s tough to get out of bed to do roadwork at 5 am when you’ve been sleeping in silk pajamas, ‘” he said.
However, just an hour later, he posted three cryptic words that sent his followers into a flurry.
“I’m not boxing,” he said.
It’s important to note that Harley hasn’t specifically said that he’s backing out of Creator Clash 3, and his saying he isn’t boxing could very well mean something different.
Fans flocked to the replies of his post to share their reactions, with many confident that Harley isn’t fighting in Creator Clash 3.
“Wait, what the hell happened!? Oh man, I hope it’s not some bs shenanigans,” one user commented.
Another replied: “The only reason to watch this year. This is very disappointing news. Hopefully you can put the training to use on Misfits or something. The scene needs you back in the ring!”
“Man, Creator Clash 3 might end up being the most poorly handled YouTuber event. And that’s saying something lmao,” said a third.
Neither Harley, LA Beast, nor iDubbbz has commented on the status of the fight, so we’ll have to wait to see what’s going on. If that fight doesn’t take place, the next biggest fight consists of Minecraft YouTubers Tubbo and Sapnap.
Creator Clash 3 also takes place on the same day as Jake Paul’s bout against ex-world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
