A COUNTRY singer sensationally took a baby piglet as her date to the ACM Awards on Thursday night.

Hitmaker Jessie Murph, 20, took a pig as her date to the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards – leaving viewers and onlookers totally stumped.

Stepping out on the red carpet in a baby pink satin ensemble, the Wild Ones singer looked sensational as she posed up a storm.

The 60th Academy of Country Music Awards took place last night, and country stars in their droves attended the event.

To make her mark, Jessie wore some satin pink flared trousers, with a tasselled pink top.

With her brunette hair styled in a voluminous style, Jessie looked like a country princess as she attended the star-studded event.

Posing up a storm for photographers, Jessie almost stole the show – but it was her date that really turned heads.

Holding a baby piglet in her arms named Wilbur, Jessie left viewers and onlookers stunned by her addition.

“Please why did jessie murph bring a pig?” asked on confused fan on social media.

“A pig on the redcarpet is a choice. Poor little guy…” slammed another.

Fellow country music star Jelly Roll also weighed in, writing on X: “Jessie Murph just tried to give a pig to me and my wife on the carpet.”

Jessie opened up about Wilbur’s red carpet debut in several interviews before heading inside the ceremony.

“You look pretty in pink, and you also have quite the plus one with you tonight,” a reporter from Entertainment Tonight said to Jessie on the red carpet.

Jessie then said: “I do.

“This is Wilbur.”

Asked if this was Wilbur’s first red carpet, Jessie said it was.

I just decided that I wanted a pig, and I’ve always wanted one.

She then gushed: “It’s going good. He’s my date.”

The reporter then asked Jessie if Wilbur was her pig.

“For today,” she replied, adding: “I’m gonna go visit him next time I’m in Texas. We’re best friends now.”

Meanwhile, in a chat with Country Now, Jessie said: “I just decided that I wanted a pig, and I’ve always wanted one.

“I’ve always wanted a mini pig, and then I find out that miniature pigs don’t exist.”

She added: “He’s supposed to wear a matching bow (with his outfit).”

And while speaking to Billboard, Jessie and the interviewers chatted about how perfectly she and Wilbur matched.
