“Big Bang Theory” creator Chuck Lorre is a judgment away from being a three-time divorcee as he has reached an agreement with his former partner, Arielle Lorre.
Two years after filing to end his third marriage in 2022, the nicknamed the “King of Sitcoms” is finally closer to the legal conclusion of his divorce. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the renowned TV producer and his ex are requesting a judge to honor their settlement agreement and close the chapter to their affair.
Chuck Lorre Files Declaration For Uncontested Dissolution Of Marriage
The legal documents filed on February 5 by Chuck were a declaration for the uncontested dissolution of his marriage. This meant that both parties had agreed to end their vows and, per the document, wished for their divorce to be settled according to a written agreement.
The filing noted that the duo’s agreement included splitting their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including spousal support, which Chuck waived. Instead, he will pay Arielle her dues per their agreement, and these undisclosed terms also cover her attorney fees.
Because the pair had no children during their marriage, “The Big Bang Theory” producer did not have to worry about child support. As for the reason for ending his marriage to Arielle, he doubled down on requesting the court to dissolve their union based on “irreconcilable differences.”
Chuck cited the same reasons in his initial divorce filing in 2022 and noted the pair had separated in May. His divorce filing also revealed the pair had a prenuptial agreement in place after they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in October 2018.
The former couple confirmed their separation in a statement to PEOPLE, confirming their split was a joint decision. “It is with mutual consideration and respect that we have decided to separate,” they revealed at the time.
“Our plan is to move forward in different directions but with great love, admiration, and gratitude for the time we shared,” they added. “We ask that you respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your support.”

Following the conclusion of his romance with Paula, Chuck found love once again with the former Playboy Playmate Karen Witter. The lovebirds were together from 2001 until 2010 but had no children.
As for his third wife, Arielle is a renowned wellness influencer with more than 287,000 Instagram followers. Following the announcement of her divorce from Chuck, she shared a motivational speech on TikTok, telling her fans not to lose hope.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but… Don’t lose hope. Please believe there are a thousand beautiful things waiting for you. Sunshine comes to everyone who feels rain,” she wrote in the video.
It is unclear how much Arielle will get out of the divorce settlement; however, it may be a pretty penny. Chuck got his nickname the “King of Sitcoms” after achieving a successful career as a film and television director, writer, producer, and composer with several movie credits.
