Christine McGuinness in Two-Piece Workout Gear is "Unstoppable"

Christine McGuinness is giving her followers a glimpse at her week – and her workout routine. In a new social media post the model and reality star shows off her amazing figure in exercise clothes, doing yoga and then a strength training workout. “This weeks roll,” she captioned the post. “I prefer to say ‘Free Spirit’ because it sounds sweeter than slightly unhinged and out of control 🙃🤣 Jokes obviously I’m in my ‘solitude girl era’ embracing every part of myself because with self acceptance, love and care.. you become unstoppable.” How does she approach diet, exercise, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Christine’s diet is based around protein. “I usually have a protein shake first thing, followed by scrambled eggs and avocado after the gym,” she told Closer. For lunch she will order chicken salad with extra chicken “to get a good protein hit after exercising,” she explains. Dinner might  be salmon with broccoli and sweet potato. “I snack on apples, bananas and grapes every day,” she added. “Green and protein is what I aim for,” Christine added to Women Fitness. “At the minute I’m eating avocado with almost everything! Avocado with egg, avocado with chicken, avocado smash bagel. It’s healthy and filling, it does contain fats but good fats. I do have a sweet tooth; I allow myself treats in moderation, mainly weekends. When I’m craving sugar I reach for the fruit bowl or a mixed veg and fruit smoothie.”

Christine avoids “anything strange” and describes her eating habits as “very fussy and particular” to Closer. “I like things bland,” she explained to Closer. She doesn’t eat any red meat. “I don’t like the taste, smell, texture or appearance. If I cook it for other people, I wear gloves,” she said.

Christine drinks water, not booze. “I’ve been teetotal for 12 years. The one thing I can’t recommend enough is water. I wonder how people survive the day without drinking at least two litres!” she told Closer. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

Christine does cardio, HIIT and weights, she revealed to Women Fitness. “I don’t stick to a routine; I do whatever I’m in the mood for that day. On days that I feel like doing nothing I will pop the baby in the pram and go for a long walk so I am still doing some gentle exercise. When I have had a good night’s sleep and feel like I’ve got plenty of energy then I will interval run followed by some abdominal workouts. I love to train my core.”

Christine is all about self-love. “I do remain positive. It takes time, hard work, commitment and dedication but it will be one of the best things you can do for yourself,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “I believe exercise is great for your inner self more than your outer self. Each and every body is beautiful but if you ask me about exercise I will always encourage and support the idea. Go for it every time, do it for you! I only wish someone would have encouraged me sooner.”
