On Aug. 4, Chrissy Teigen posted a photo of herself in a pair of Gucci briefs to announce her pregnancy, and ever since, the adorable family content has been flowing freely. Case in point: Teigen is currently vacationing in Italy with her husband, John Legend, and their two children, Luna and Miles Stephens.
Over the weekend, Teigen shared a momentous family moment on Instagram — a photo where the entire family, including Luna and Miles, are looking at the camera. “EVERYONE IS LOOKING!!!!!!! this is a big deal,” she captioned the adorable family photo. The only explanation can be the magic of Italy.
Teigen gave a first peek at her family’s vacation on Aug. 22, sharing a gallery of scenic photos visiting various locations. The highlights were undoubtedly a photo of Teigen posing with Luna as the child rested her head on her mom’s growing belly, a video of Teigen applying sunblock to Luna’s face while on a boat as they both jammed out to Ariana Grande‘s “Goodnight n Go,” and a close-up photo of Miles smiling adorably into the camera at mealtime.
Following the birth of Teigen’s first two children, she experienced a pregnancy loss of her third child, a son named Jack, in September 2020. The trying experience has colored her current pregnancy. “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least,” she wrote in her Aug. 4 Instagram post announcing her pregnancy. “But joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way. Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
