Chipotle is giving away 50,000 burritos, but you have to play Roblox

Chipotle has announced a massive Cinco de Mayo giveaway, but you have to play Roblox in order to win one of 50,000 free burritos.

Since it was founded in 1993, Chipotle has become one of the most popular Mexican-focused fast food restaurants.

They often celebrate Cinco de Mayo, a holiday that was created to celebrate Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, and this year is no different.

This year, the chain is giving away 50,000 burritos on Cinco de Mayo for 2025 and you can get one yourself… if you’re a Roblox player, that is.

Chipotle launches ‘Ingredient Quest’ Roblox game

According to a news release from Chipotle, they created ‘Ingredient Quest’ to educate users on the brand’s 53 real ingredients while giving them a chance to claim a free burrito as a reward.

Chipotle’s Burrito Builder will launch at 3 pm PT on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Here’s how the game works:

  1. Roblox users will meet an employee inside the virtual restaurant’s “Burrito Builder Experience.”
  2. New players will receive a starter pack of five unique ingredient cards, and the goal is to collect all 53
  3. Users must roll burritos to earn Burrito Bucks, which can be redeemed for more card packs
  4. 40 ingredients are available in card packs, while eight are available through a virtual scavenger hunt
  5. The first 50,000 users to collect all 53 ingredients will unlock a free entree offer

“Our fans love to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with our real ingredients,” said Chris Brandt, Chief Brand Officer, Chipotle. “This year, we’re giving the Roblox community the opportunity to compete for free Chipotle and learn more about what makes our brand unique along the way.”

This isn’t the first wacky giveaway led by a major company so far in 2025, either. Fireball Whisky is giving away a lifetime supply of its drinks, but to win, you have to be 90 years old or older.
