The upcoming 10th season of Chicago Med is currently in the works and we have confirmation that three main actors are definitely returning!
These three actors all had expiring contracts at the end of the recent ninth season, but they have all closed deals to continue their time on the show.

S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt and Marlyne Barrett are all returning for season 10. They’re the three remaining original cast members!
Merkerson stars as Sharon Goodwin, Platt plays Dr. Daniel Charles, and Barrett stars as Nurse Maggie Lockwood.
Deadline reports that the new deals “assure continuity on the One Chicago offshoot, which is undergoing a major behind-the-scenes transition ahead of Season 10.” The show will be getting new showrunners for season 10 and another cast member has announced an exit.
Oliver Platt (Dr. Daniel Charles, Chief of Psychiatry) – CONFIRMED TO RETURN
Oliver, who has played Dr. Daniel Charles from Season 1, is confirmed back for Season 10.
S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin, Chief of Patient and Medical Services) – CONFIRMED TO RETURN
S. Epatha, who has played Sharon Goodwin from the beginning, is confirmed back for Season 10.
Marlyne Barrett (Maggie Lockwood, RN, ED Charge Nurse) – CONFIRMED TO RETURN
Marlyne, who has played Maggie Lockwood since Season 1, is confirmed to return for the tenth season.
