Isaac Ramirez chatted about being an actor, model, entrepreneur, firefighter, and social influencer in the digital age.
American author, speaker, and leader John C. Maxwell once said: “Dreams don’t work unless you do.” This quote applies to Isaac Ramirez.
Being a part of Hallmark’s first reality show
Back in 2024, Ramirez was a part of the inaugural season of the Hallmark reality show “Finding Mr. Christmas.”
“It was great,” he recalled. “It was such a good experience. I met some great people, and they were really fun.”
“Everyone in the cast and the crew did a great job. My hat goes off to them,” he said.
Ramirez had great words about all of his fellow contestants including Blake Kelley and winner Ezra Moreland. “Blake and Ezra were great! In fact, all the guys on that show were cool. I really enjoyed spending time with them, and I learned a lot from them too,” he said.
“So, that whole experience was a wonderful journey,” he admitted.
Isaac Ramirez — The San Francisco Bay Area Firefighter
On his career as a California firefighter, he shared, “I am a Bay Area firefighter but I live in Los Angeles. Firefighting has been going really well. I have been doing that for about 10 years now and I just love what I do so much!”
“Firefighting gives me an opportunity to really help people and make a difference out there, which is what I love and which is what I signed up to do,” he noted.
“That’s the reason why I became a firefighter… to just have a positive impact in this world. You know, I think there should be more people out there that are willing to not only give up their time, but their lives too as well, and to show that to the world,” he elaborated.
“I think the world needs more of that, especially in these times,” he added.
Daily motivations
On his biggest motivations, he revealed, “My biggest motivation is my purpose. I am a very driven individual and I know that I have a purpose to fulfill. One of those purposes is to just inspire as many people as I can out there.”
“I’ve been given a platform with a good, decent size, but I want to use it for good,” he said.
“I think a lot of people these days just want that for themselves, and use it to their advantage, which I understand,” he noted.
“I truly do want to make a difference out there, and inspire many young, old, the new generation, the older generation, boys, girls, men, women, and whoever is out there,” he explained.
I want to just have a positive impact, for sure,” he added.
The digital age
Ramirez opened up about being an entrepreneur, actor, and firefighter in the digital age. “It’s a very challenging thing,” he admitted.
“I am willing to do things that not a lot of people are willing to do, and I am constantly working. Even when I’m not at the fire station, when I get off, I’m working at home, and I have a bunch of meetings,” he elaborated.
“I love it because it keeps me going, and it constantly keeps me running. I thrive on the go,” he added.
Isaac Ramirez — The emerging actor
Ramirez revealed that he has a new film in the works that he filmed in the Dominica island. “It was a great experience, and that should be releasing sometime soon,” he foreshadowed.
“Acting is my top priority right now,” he noted. “That has been my priority for the past couple of years. I’m still fairly new to it, but I’ve been working hard at it.”

In addition, he is an entrepreneur and co-founder of LOCDNA. “I love it,” he exclaimed. “It’s a great movement, and it’s more of a movement than a brand.”
“We want to inspire people and motivate people to do great things and pursue their purpose in life. That’s what it’s all about… legacy over currency,” he added.
“It’s me and one of my good friends and business partner, Coach Yuck, that we’re trying to move this upscale and just try to teach people that it’s more than just that,” he explained.
“It’s more than just being on TV. It’s more than just making money, driving nice cars, and having a beautiful house,” he noted. “All those things are temporary. It’s not something that you have with you forever. Family is huge for me!”
“LOCDNA is about pursuing your purpose and really realizing that these small, monetary things are not going to make you happy,” he said.
“So, it’s all about being purpose-driven with LOCDNA, and to make a difference and inspire people out there,” he added.
Stage of his life
On the title of the current chapter of his life, he responded, “The pursuit of greatness.”
“I’ve achieved a lot in life, but I’m still waiting for the moment that is just offering to me to be like ‘all right, this is your moment’,” he said. “My goal is to inspire as many people as I possibly can.”
Defining moments
On his career-defining moments, he remarked, “I think being a firefighter really is a constant defining moment every day.”
“Recently, we had a house fire a couple of days ago, where we were saving somebody’s home, and saving the houses around. So, I would say that’s a defining moment every day at work,” he explained.
Ramirez defines success
Ramirez is a firm believer of the following quote about success. “Success is where preparation meets opportunity. So, for me, that means that you’re going to be given many opportunities in life,” he said.
“I’m going to make sure that I’m working every day, so that I can be successful when I get those opportunities. That has been one of the biggest turning points for me,” he said.
“I’ve learned so much growing up with my parents and my siblings,” he said. “I’m part of eight siblings. So, that really taught me to mature early on, to really grow up, as well as to be a positive influence to them and be a good role model to them.”
“Also, I intertwined that with my purpose. All that comes together for the bigger picture,” he noted. “So, success, for me, is fulfilling your purpose in this world.”
Message for his fans and supporters
For his fans and supporters, Ramirez expressed, “Oh, my goodness. I appreciate you all. I love you all. You guys are the reason why I made it this far. And I continue to keep pushing is because of you.”
“Honestly, when there’s some days where I question myself why I keep doing this, it’s because my purpose is to inspire you all. So, I hope I can do that and that I can constantly do that,” he explained.
“I want to be able to do that on a whole different level with acting and films. So that’s the goal… for the fans to see me in a movie very soon,” Ramirez concluded.
