GEN V and The Boys cast have paid tribute to their late co-star, Chance Perdomo, who died at 27.
Before his shocking death on Friday, Chance was the breakout star of the superhero drama Gen V.
During the first season of the Amazon Prime show, the actor played the super-powered Andre Anderson, a rising star at Godolkin University.
The first season finale of Gen V teased Andre’s arc would continue in the upcoming Season 4 of The Boys.
Andre’s castmates from both programs shared their condolences online.
Gen V co-star Patrick Schwarzenegger – the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, 76 – shared an emotional tribute on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This hurts. A lot. What a young, talented actor and a great friend – gone way too soon,” he wrote.
“Was a pleasure to work with him in Gen V.”
In an Instagram Story, Jessie T. Usher, 32 – who plays the notorious speedster A-Train on The Boys- shared a heartfelt message.
“Tragic news. Rest in peace, Chance,” Jessie wrote.
“Thank you for giving us ‘Andre.'”
In the following Story, Antony Starr, 48 – who appeared on both shows as the supervillain Homelander – commented, “So goddamn tragic,” and reshared the producers’ statement.
“For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person,” the producers stated.
SEASON 2
The first season finale of Gen V ended with Andre trapped in a white room with no windows and no escape.
He found himself captured with his classmates Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Emma (Lizze Broadway), and Jordan (Derek Luh).

On Saturday, production of Season 2 has been delayed indefinitely, according to Deadline.
The table read for the sophomore season of The Boys spinoff Season 2 table was supposed to commence in April.
The writers and producers are reportedly in a bind due to the loss of their lead actor.
It is unclear if the scripts will write Chance’s character off or if his role will be recast.

Season 4 of The Boys premieres June 14 on Amazon Prime.
Chance died as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Also over the weekend, his representatives released a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” the statement read.
