The cast of Cheers reunited at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday night.
Cast members Ted Danson, Kelsey Grammer, Rhea Perlman, John Ratzenberger, and George Wendt were on hand to present the award for Outstanding Directing and Writing for a Comedy Series.
Notably absent from the reunion were Shelley Long, Woody Harrelson, and Bebe Neuwirth. Kirstie Alley died of colon cancer in 2022 at age 71.
Cheers ran from 1982 to 1993, earning 28 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Last year, Grammer revived his Cheers spin-off, Frasier, with a new series on Paramount+. The show’s producers have not ruled out the possibility of Grammer’s Cheers co-stars appearing in future episodes.
