“My workout routine right now is pretty minimal,” Cara confessed to Women’s Health. “My workout routine isn’t something that’s fixed,” she added. “I try to listen to my body and do at least 10 minutes of movement a day,” she explains. Women’s Health
If Cara needs to get in shape for a project she does Pilates daily. She also enjoys boxing, hiking, tennis, and swimming. “It’s hard to motivate yourself to work out when it’s the same activity every day, so I can’t stand going to the gym,” she told Women’s Health.
Cara has earned a earned a yellow belt in martial arts. “I wanted to be able to be strong and to defend myself,” she told Women’s Health. “It’s also interesting to learn about the history of the practice.”
Yoga helps Carar get “out of her head and into her body,” she told Women’s Health. “For me, yoga is really about breathwork and meditation. t’s not an exercise, it’s a practice.” She adds that pracicing yoga gives her the chance to “take stock and check what’s going on inside.”
Cara once revealed to Grazia her secret to staying thin. “It is the stress that does it. I don’t exercise,” she said. “I have been to the gym twice in the last six months and it was too much. I’m rather unfit. It is just stress.”
Cara claims that she regularly fuels up with food. “I had McDonald’s for lunch [the day before the show] and pizza for dinner. I need to eat a lot otherwise I feel faint – I get in the worst moods if I don’t eat,” she told Vogue.
