Singles Day sounded better than normal this year thanks to the release of 22 new vinyl singles from Capitol Records. The Chinese holiday, celebrated annually on Nov. 11, is billed as the world’s biggest shopping event. To mark the occasion, Capitol released new pressings by the Cure, Fletcher, and Good Neighbors plus vault titles from Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, the Beatles, ABBA, Katy Perry, and more. The singles are available on 7” vinyl via shop.capitolmusic.com while supplies last.

New pressings for the festivities include the Cure’s “A Fragile Thing,” which appears in its RS24 Mix on the A-side, back by the RS24 remix of the same track. Fletcher’s ”Doing Better” / “Better Version” and Good Neighbors’ Good Neighbors’ “Home” / “Keep It Up” have also been pressed up for the occasion. Fletcher’s “Eras Of Us” single is one of the vault offerings as well.

Among the vault titles are a quartet of ABBA singles including “Happy New Year” / “Felicidad” on transparent vinyl with blue splatter, a “Waterloo” / “Watch Out” picture disc, the “Super Trouper” 7” Singles boxset (which features three singles on colored vinyl), and the limited edition Voulez-Vous – The Singles box set on limited edition numbered, colored vinyl.
