Calva Louise have dropped their epic new single ‘La Corriente’.
The new track arrives not only off the back of a recent tour with Vukovi, but the band’s recent performance at Download Festival over the weekend too.
Sharing their experiences of the Donnington Park event over the weekend, the band have said:
“Playing Download was one of the greatest experiences of our lives!
“We are so happy to have had that chance, the tent was filled with such an amazing crowd and the best vibes!”
And now they have an electrifying new track for fans to enjoy too – have a watch and a listen for yourself below.
Explaining more about their latest track, the band’s guitarist and vocalist Jess Allanic has said:
“‘La Corriente’ is about escaping prefabricated opinions and judgments, affecting our perception of self.
“By trying to be agreeable and trying to fit in, I let someone’s current drag me away from my own self in the past, undermining my opinions and eventually feeling trapped in expressing myself. This song for me is regaining that power back.”
The band will be taking their show on the road soon with a UK tour starting on July 04 at the Bodega in Nottingham, before dates that include Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London.
They’re also set for a festival-heavy summer with slots at 2000Trees, Dynamo Metal Festival and Burn It Down Festival all on the horizon.
