Caedrel becomes Twitch’s most-watched streamer after besting Asmongold

League of Legends streamer Caedrel has ascended to the top of Twitch, beating out Asmongold to become the platform’s most-watched streamer.

After months of steadily climbing the Twitch rankings, Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont is officially the most-watched streamer, thanks to his LoL coverage.

Caedrel has been on the rise for some time, with hundreds of thousands of viewers tuning into his Worlds 2024 co-stream in September 2024.

The coverage of his own team, Los Ratones, helped immensely too, as their competitive NLC debut smashed NLC viewership records.

Now, in March 2025, Lamont has once again risen to the top, outperforming a who’s who of Twitch icons to take the crown.

Caedrel beats Asmongold, Hasan and Kai Cenat for top Twitch streamer

According to stats provided by our friends over at StreamsCharts, Caedrel ended the month with 11.17M hours watched, the only streamer to dip into the double digits.

He also did it with fewer hours streamed than Asmongold who was live for over ten more hours. Asmongold, on his ZackRawrr account, had 9.99M hours watched in March and was live for 219 hours.

Other big names include Jynxzi, who finished with 7.01M hours watched, and Hasan, who had 6.79M.

The former reigning Twitch king, Kai Cenat, wasn’t live nearly as much as he was in February, streaming for nearly 100 fewer hours. Still, despite streaming less, Cenat still had people watching for 5.34M hours.

March also saw Caedrel’s LoL squad Los Ratones capture the EMEA Masters 2025 Winter title with a 3-0 sweep against Ici Japon Corp.

Now, the question becomes if the LoL streamer will be able to retain his place at the top of Twitch or if Kai Cenat will bounce back with a vengeance to retake the throne.
