Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are closing out the calendar year by reflecting on their 2024 highlights. The ensemble shared a press release that aimed to capture their collective career peaks, from scorching and extensive live shows to the arrival of the movie Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band on Hulu and Disney+. They also shared their intentions for 2025, including the forthcoming release of never-before-heard material.

Springsteen and the E Street Band reached new heights during the past calendar year. They reflected on their concert format, which has surpassed the three-hour mark, considering the necessary time to run through the group’s massive archive of fan favorites, chart toppers, and, on occasion, rarities. Via press release, they shared that from 2023-2024, tour efforts resulted in the sale of four million concert tickets.

The band toured eight out of the past year’s 12 months, covering North America and Europe regions, the climax being Springsteens’ long overdue Asbury Park, N.J. return, which represented the first time in decades the Garden State artist returned to his hometown stage–as a headliner during Sea.Hear.Now.

Looking ahead to 2025, Springsteen will “continue his involvement” in making the biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White, currently filming on the Jersey Shore. The forthcoming block of time will also yield the 50th anniversary of Born to Run and fellow milestone releases “The River,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad” and “Devils & Dust.”

The official press release states, “Upcoming releases in 2025 will include a look back at Springsteen’s storied recording career, featuring never-before-heard material.”

Springsteen and the E Street Band have already announced European tour dates, slated to begin in May.
