BRITNEY Spears has shocked fans after she was spotted driving with her injured ankle.
On Wednesday, the Toxic singer was steering behind the wheel of her white Mercedes-Benz – the AMG SL 63 model costs more than $100,000.
While driving in Los Angeles, California, Britney, 42, appeared solo in her seat.
While sitting inside her luxury car, most of her long hair was combed behind her ears.
She covered her eyes with thick black sunglasses.
Britney took her car out for a spin after revealing her nasty injury.
About a week ago, the pop star showed off her severely swollen ankle in a short video.
THE COMMENTS
And now, in an online thread, fans shared their concerns about the star in the comments section.
“I really hope, as [Britney] spirals and continues to make unsafe choices, that if anything happens to her, she’s not harming others in the process. Especially with her car,” one fan mentioned.
“At this point, I’m just waiting for the inevitable. Poor soul,” another fan suggested.
“Why is [Britney] driving with an injured foot? Clearly, nobody in her real life cares enough about her to get her real help and stability. This girl is going to end up with a tragic outcome,” a third fan claimed.
“The most important thing with an injury in the foot or ankle is to stabilize it with some brace – if a cast isn’t necessary – then make sure that it’s lifted as much as possible. Putting pressure on it is bad,” a fourth person explained.
“Even though the car is automatic, I believe that keeping your foot on the ground is not the best option,” a commentator chimed.
THE FIGHT?
Britney’s solo drive came after she was escorted out of Chateau Marmont hotel last week.
In early May, the Crossroads actress reportedly got into a fight with her off-and-on boyfriend Paul Soliz, according to TMZ.
A woman matching Britney’s description was reportedly harassing and threatening the hotel employees and its guests.
Britney Spears’ conservatorship timeline
In September 2021, Britney’s case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.
She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter’s conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.
“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today.”
Following the judge’s decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie’s place for about a month.
In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he’s done fighting.
Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation.
On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.
Officers first arrived at 10:30 pm and left after there were no reported signs of trouble.
Britney and Paul retreated to a hotel room around 11 pm, where sources claimed the pair got into a physical altercation.
The source claimed the dancer reportedly injured her leg in the fight.
Around the same time, an insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that the star’s friends are not impressed with Soliz.
“We know that a few weirdos from her past have been trying to get back into her life,” the source shared.
“But all we can do as her friends is give her legal reps the heads up if we think any of them could cause problems for her.”
