BRITNEY Spears shared a touching family update following her intense court battle.
Her dad Jamie settled his case with Britney over her 13-year-long conservatorship last week – with a judge ordering the singer to foot her dad’s $2 million legal bills.
Britney uploaded an Instagram post on Wednesday which started with a front cover of a book about reclaiming your heart and being freed from shackles.
The second photo included a family sat around a dining table outside.
“We all have issues with our family but dear God you can’t help how much you love them,” Britney captioned the post.
“I’m not in this picture but I sure as hell feel like I am. On a side note … If you know me, I’ve always ended up at this kids table at every function I’ve ever been to!!!”

Britney then added that she spent every meeting at the kids table despite the fancy food at the adult’s.
“I’m posting this pic because my family is absolutely beautiful and I miss them,” she continued.
“So not to sound righteous but in a world of chaos and confusion the trickery of the devil is to mislead you and humiliate you … and make you think you’re less than!!!
“I wanted to share this pic because although I’m not in it … I sure as hell felt as though I was!!!” she concluded.
Britney’s dad was not mentioned or featured in the photos.
Britney has blocked comments on her social media, meaning no fans could leave comments.
Her mention of family came after she officially settled her long conservatorship battle with her dad.
In November 2021, Jamie was removed from his position as Britney’s conservator.
Recently, Jamie and Britney’s long legal battle was laid to rest.
FAMILY BATTLES
Over her 13-year-long conservatorship, it has been estimated that Jamie was up by about $5 million from the pop star by pocketing monthly fees.
Now that Britney has been freed from her conservatorship since 2021, she is estimated to be worth and in control of her $60 million estate.
Britney Spears’ conservatorship timeline
In September 2021, Britney’s case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.
She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter’s conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.
“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today.”
Following the judge’s decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie’s place for about a month.
In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he’s done fighting.
Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation.
On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.
Three years later and Britney and Jamie have finally settled on an undisclosed amount to close the ongoing battle.
Since Jamie has been removed from Britney’s finances, he has been spotted staying in an RV.
HOUSING ISSUES
Jamie sold Britney’s childhood house in Kentwood, Louisiana, in 2021 for just $275,000 to a local, who last October put it on the market for $1.2 million.
Since then, he appeared to not have a home of his own to live in.
The most recent pic, taken by Google Maps in July 2023, shows Jamie’s RV parked up at a storage facility owned by Britney – where she is believed to store her memorabilia.
Jamie has been pictured leaving the RV and is believed to have been living in the motorhome on the property since 2018.
According to Official Tangipahoa Parish Council documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, Jamie also bought a plot of land in December 2022 for $54,510, directly next to the warehouse.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Jamie and Britney’s representatives for comment.
